As a WordPress website designer, I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate a lot of hosting companies over the last ten years. Since switching to SiteGround three years ago I’ve been impressed by their customer service, backup services, and security features. In my book, SiteGround is the leader in shared hosting for WordPress users.
WordPress.Org apparently thinks so too. They’ve recently placed SiteGround on their list of recommended hosting providers.
The user wins when web host providers perform with excellence. It affects the hosting industry, causing other providers to “up their game” in order to compete. For instance, SiteGround’s managed WordPress service options have prompted hosting titans GoDaddy and HostGator to follow suit.
“There are hundreds of thousands of web hosts out there, the vast majority of which meet the WordPress minimum requirements, and choosing one from the crowd can be a chore … WordPress works best when it’s in a rich hosting environment,” writes WordPress.Org on their web host recommendation page. SiteGround is one of four providers WordPress has singled out as the “best and the brightest of the hosting world.”
SiteGround’s WordPress services include one-click installation, free transfers of existing accounts with no downtime, auto updates, free WordPress designs, and step-by-step tutorials. To read more about SiteGround’s offerings check out their website.
